Mid-Afternoon Market Update: Dow Dips Over 800 Points; HCA Healthcare Shares Plunge

HCA Dow Nasdaq NYSE Dow Jones Euro Oil Covid-19 Verizon

U.S. stocks extended losses toward the end of trading, with the Dow Jones dropping more than 800 points on Friday.

The Dow traded down 2.42% to 33,949.34 while the NASDAQ fell 2.30% to 12,871.26. The S&P also fell, dropping, 2.44% to 4,286.50.
