Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton picked the right night to play the best game of his professional career.
During Super Bowl 57’s big Chiefs fumble recovery-for-touchdown, Bolton was the one who scooped up the Philadelphia Eagles ball and ran it back for the score.
All of his Kansas City teammates celebrated Bolton’s huge play, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid.
“Big time play,” an excited Mahomes told Bolton after the game-altering touchdown. “You’re right back on it, dog.”
As cool as it is to see the moment play out in real-time, it can be just as fascinating to see the sideline view of a seismic Super Bowl moment.

Talk about a warm welcome for Bolton on the Kansas City sideline. The linebacker made a clear name for himself on football’s biggest stage and cemented himself as a player to watch going forward.
Just another wonderful part of the Super Bowl: watching a new star emerge and seeing his teammates give him his flowers.
