Mics caught Andy Reid joking about defrosting his mustache during freezing Chiefs game

Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid experienced winter’s absolute worst during Saturday night’s AFC wild-card game against the Miami Dolphins.

Arrowhead Stadium turned into an icebox as the wind chill dipped into the negative 20s during the game, and Reid’s mustache literally froze on his face in the frigid conditions.

While the sight of Reid sporting a frozen mustache inspired plenty of great memes, it also looked absolutely miserable for the two-time Super Bowl-winning coach as he braved the elements with this team.

A mic’d-up Reid joked with some of his Kansas City players about how it looked, saying he needed to “defrost the mustache” to get it back to normal.

Look, when you need to literally defrost your mustache, you know that the weather is just not going your way.

However, we so appreciate Reid’s sense of humor in the moment, and we hope he defrosted his ‘stache with plenty of success after the chilly game ended.
