Technology giant Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) reported fourth-quarter financial results after the market close Tuesday. Here are the key highlights.

Microsoft reported fourth-quarter revenue of $56.2 billion, which was up 8% year-over-year. The revenue total beat a Street consensus estimate of $55.47 billion.
