Microsoft is making significant moves in the AI space by appointing Mustafa Suleyman, a renowned AI veteran and co-founder of Google DeepMind, to lead a new group focused on consumer AI initiatives. This strategic decision aligns with Microsoft's goal to stay competitive in the AI race against tech giants like Google.

In addition to Suleyman, Microsoft is also bringing on board Karén Simonyan, co-founder of Inflection, along with other key team members. This hiring spree underscores Microsoft's commitment to attracting top talent to drive its AI ambitions forward.
