When Bryce Underwood flipped his commitment from LSU to Michigan in November 2024, he did what any Gen Z star would do to announce the news: post on social media. Instagram was his preferred method of sharing the news and the Detroit native opted for a two-word caption to accompany video of his announcement. It read “Hometown. Hero.”
Fewer than two years later, Underwood’s time playing for his home-state school may be at an end.
