A fortunate Michigan woman's heart skipped a beat when she recently discovered that her $5 scratch-off ticket had won her a staggering $500,000. According to the Michigan Lottery, the 64-year-old woman from Allegan County, who chose to remain anonymous, had been playing the Ghostbusters scratch-off game since its launch back in September 2023.
The incredible win came as a complete surprise to her. She shared that while purchasing the ticket at a gas station on her way to work, she and the clerk had been discussing retirement. The clerk handed her the ticket with a hopeful message, saying, 'Well, I hope this ticket helps with saving for retirement!'
