Michigan State has reached their best ranking of the 2024-25 campaign. On Monday, in the latest USCHO rankings, the Spartans have checked in as the No. 2 team in the country. The only team still ahead of MSU is Denver at No. 1.
This bump in the rankings comes after MSU swept Notre Dame on home ice this past weekend.
The Spartans return to action on Thursday for an exhibition matchup against the United States National Development Team before a nonconference weekend series with Lindenwood on Nov. 29.
