Michigan State football to host D2 wide receiver transfer

Michigan State football is knee deep in the transfer portal this December, looking to improve in year two of the Jonathan Smith era in East Lansing. Within finding new talent, the Spartans coaching staff is leaving no stone unturned.

MSU has identified a division 2 wide receiver that will be visiting East Lansing. DJ Black is the prospect that the Spartans will be hosting, following his visit to UCF.

Black was a walk-on at South Carolina before transferring to D2 Limestone in Gaffney, South Carolina. He racked up 41 catches for 939 yards and 11 TDs this season.
