Michigan State football has extended a scholarship offer to one of the top cornerback prospects in the 2024 class.
Jeremiah Newcombe announced on Saturday that he’s received a scholarship offer from the Spartans. Newcombe hails from Queen Creek, Ariz., and is a four-star cornerback prospect.
Newcombe is ranked as the No. 14 cornerback and No. 153 overall prospect in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2024 class. He’s also ranked as the No. 5 player from Arizona.
Michigan State joins six other schools that have previously offered Newcombe. Along with his offer from the Spartans, Newcombe has received a scholarship from Arizona, Arizona State, Nevada, Northern Arizona, San Diego State and USC.
