A big recruiting weekend is shaping up for MIchigan State football when they play host to Iowa on homecoming. A massive part of the recruiting weekend is hosting an elite quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class.
Nelson Peterson Jr., the younger brother of NFL great Adrian, is the prospect that will be making his way to East Lansing for the homecoming affair between the Spartans and Hawkeyes.
Peterson is a native of Forney, Texas, where he ranks as the No. 205 overall player and No. 15 QB in the nation.

As of now, Ole Miss and Texas Tech are the two schools in the mix with the QB right now.
