Michigan State’s baseball team has gotten themselves over the .500 mark on the 2022 baseball season, improving their record to 8-7 after a 4-3 win over Houston Baptist. Michigan State has had an up and down start to the year, with big wins over West Virginia and Kansas, but some questionable losses as well.
The Spartans hope to build momentum and to start to string together wins heading into Big Ten play. They got a good start towards building that momentum with a walk-off home run to knock off Houston Baptist in their first game at McLane Stadium this season.
