Michigan man with brain injury goes missing after telling mom he was visiting friend

Authorities and family members are searching for a 25-year-old Michigan man, Tyler Bojanowski, who has been missing since the early hours of Thursday, February 5.

Bojanowski, who suffers from a brain injury, was last seen around 2:30 a.m., after telling his mother he was going to visit a friend.

The Allen Park Police Department reported that Bojanowski’s truck was later found abandoned near a Best Western on Enterprise Drive.

Security footage reportedly shows him walking away from the vehicle without a coat. His passport was discovered separately at Dingell Park in Ecorse, according to family sources.

Bojanowski’s mother, Nicole Dillon, who has been caring for her son following a serious car accident, said she last saw him on February 4.

“Tyler, if you’re out there, and if you’re watching this, please just call me. Please just come home,” Dillon urged.

Described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing around 200 pounds, with blonde hair, blue eyes and glasses, Bojanowski is reportedly without his phone and wallet.

Authorities and family are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the Wyandotte Police Department.

Dillon shared on Facebook that despite intensive searches by law enforcement and family, Tyler remains missing. “Please pray that he’s found safe,” she wrote, calling the situation the “hardest thing I’ve had to post.”
