Michigan Dismisses Hockey Player for Alleged Hate Crime

A Michigan hockey player, Johnny Druskinis, has been taken off the team ahead of the 2023–24 season after it was discovered that he, along with another student, allegedly covered the university’s Jewish Resource Center with images of male genitalia and homophobic slurs.

Upon his removal from the team, a Michigan spokesperson did not tell the Detroit Free Press the exact reason why the sophomore defenseman is no longer with the team.
