Michelle Keegan took on a very different role as she celebrated her bride-to-be friend at her hen party. The Brassic actress, who will soon be back on our screens in the BBC series Ten Pound Poms filmed in Australia, let her hair down hula-hooping in a bright blue wig as the ladies formed pink and blue teams.
Guests, who also included former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher's wife Liz, also dressed up as pop icons and Michelle channelled the late musical superstar Whitney Houston. Other hens channelled Kylie Minogue, Mariah Carey and Britney Spears.
Michelle was almost unrecognisable in a curly wig and white vest from the idol's I Wanna Dance With Somebody era as snaps were shared on Instagram. Stockport-born Michelle, who shot to fame by playing Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street, previously transformed with fancy dress into another famous Tina for Halloween in 2021.

She dressed up as Proud Mary singer Tina Turner, and it was 'simply the best.' "The only thing scary about my Halloween outfit this year is just how long I’ve waited to dress up at Tina!" she wrote on her social media.
Michelle was last week branded her followers' 'girl crush' as she showcased her toned abs in stylish beachwear. She kept her face out of the photo but showed off her swimwear from her own range, Orfila Bee. "Wearing swimwear to sushi," the 35-year-old captioned the post.

Michelle, who plays Erin Croft in the Sky drama Brassic, is set to star next in Fool Me Once, the new Netflix adaptation of bestselling author Harlan Coben's book. She revealed the news to her followers back in February with a photo of her posing at a poolside in a bikini with the bestselling book in hand.
Another snap showed a sign which read 'Maya', indicating her character's name, as well as an exclusive photo of her filming in action. Alongside the pictures, she wrote: "Finally the secrets out!! I'm over the moon to be joining the cast of FOOL ME ONCE, a @netflixuk thriller based on the book by the extremely talented @harlancoben. Here we gooooo…"
Michelle has since been giving little glimpses into filming for the much-anticipated series including earlier this month when she jokingly fumed she had been 'sold the dream'. She was joking while filming in what she thought would warmer climes than the spring weather in the UK as she shared a snap of herself abroad in the sunshine. However, even though she donned flip-flops she ended up wrapping up in a warm coat with a warm fleecy lining to ward off the cold.
Sharing snaps and video on her Instagram Stories the actress simply wrote: "Windy AF." With a video clip of herself appearing to be shivering and grimacing, she wrote dryly: "I've been wearing flip flops and a warm coat ..." and she added jokingly: "Been sold a dream again." Ten Pound Poms will be screened on BBC1 at 9pm on Sunday May 14.
