Michelle Keegan is ‘wrapped’ with joy as she celebrates the end of filming for Brassic’s fourth series.
The 34-year-old couldn’t hide her smile after completing her final scenes as much-loved Erin Croft in the Sky Max comedy and hugged its crew members.
In the upcoming scenes Erin is seen trying to escape after a bungled attempt to nick a memory card from a posh house goes wrong and is forced to push Vinny for cover as a car returns to the ‘burgled’ home only for Vinny to drop the card.
The couple can be seen on hands and knees desperately trying to find the card after they were disturbed.
It’s been a busy few months for Michelle who has been travelling to and from the north-west for filming and she is reported to be taking a break from acting.
After shooting seasons three and four back to back - in the midst of the ongoing pandemic - the former Coronation Street star is planning to enjoy some time off before taking on her next role, an insider has claimed.
"Michelle is one of the hardest working actresses in the country. She has been non-stop over the last year and hasn’t really had a breather," a source has claimed to The Sun.
They added that "it hasn't been easy filming during Covid times" and the star is ready for a break.
"She barely had any time off after Our Girl before she started Brassic, but is expected to take a little step back before she announces her next big project," the insider added.
"She just hasn’t decided how long for yet."
The Mirror has contacted representatives for Michelle for comment.
Michelle found fame as Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street back in 2008 and was on the soap until her character was killed off in 2014.
She then went on to win roles in Ordinary Lies, Our Girl and played Tina Dean in the Bobby - an ITV bipoc based on West Ham footballer Bobby Moore's relationship with his wife.
