A GLASGOW restaurant has been shortlisted as 'restaurant of the year'.
Unalome - which is one of only two city restaurants to have a Michelin star alongside Cail Bruich - is a finalist in the category at the upcoming Scottish Excellence Awards.
The Finnieston eatery is the first solo venture by award-winning chef Graeme Cheevers, opening in June 2021 before being officially presented with a star in July 2022.
Michelin lauded the European and Japanese-influenced cuisine for its 'boldness and sophistication' in cooking and said Unalome is worth a visit for the full tasting menu and the 'thoughtfully considered' wine pairings.
Other restaurants nominated in the category are Aizle in Edinburgh, Haar Restaurant with Rooms in St Andrews, Edinbane Lodge on the Isle of Skye and Station Road at The Lovat in Fort Augustus.
The event will be held on Thursday, March 16 and is described as "recognising and rewarding the highest standards in hospitality, foodservice and tourism across the country.
"Providing a mark of distinction and a unique marketing advantage for finalists and winners in each of the categories, the awards highlight the hard work and commitment of individuals and businesses of all sizes who are helping to raise standards throughout the sector."
