Michelin restaurant taken over by animal rights activists in 'national day of action'

Smartly dressed members of protest group Animal Rebellion have occupied tables at a Michelin Star restaurant, as part of a day of action.

Nine supporters have disrupted the service at Newcastle’s House of Tides, where dinners start at £130 per person.

Smartly dressed members of the group have sat at tables reserved for customers and holding mock menus outlying the group’s demands.
