Michael Stewart believes Kilmarnock will be "upset" but disagreed with Derek McInnes over a potential red for Celtic striker Oh for a high challenge on Liam Donnelly.
Killie boss Derek McInnes fumed after the final whistle over the South Korean forwards attempt to regain possession in the second half. Goals from Kyogo Furuhashi and Daizen Maeda and Matt O'Riley's double ensured Celtic need only seven points from their last six matches to retain the Scottish Premiership trophy.
Relegation-threatened Kilmarnock can take encouragement from their performance after McInnes made a double change in the 31st minute, with Liam Donnelly's goal proving a consolation. McInnes took aim at the officials over the Oh incident saying his challenge was similar to Kyle Vassell's against Hibernian earlier this season where he was shown his marching orders following a VAR review. Referee David Dickinson was not urged to review the footage of the incident which frustrated McInnes. Former Hibs and Hearts player Stewart did not agree with the ex-Aberdeen manager.
Stewart told Sportscene: "It's not a red card, but I know why the Kilmarnock players are up in arms because obviously Vassell got sent off against Hibs for something very similar.
"You could see him coming in almost demonstrating that. I don't think it's a red card and I don't think Vassell should have been sent off at Easter Road either but I can understand why Kilmarnock are upset about it."
While former Celtic star Simon Donnelly agreed with Stewart, he said: "I think Derek McInnes was looking for a red card, that's a little bit harsh. I think he has his eyes on the ball, yes it's a bit dangerous."
Speaking after the game, McInnes told Sky Sports: "I thought there should've been a red card for Oh as well. We get Vassell sent off for a similar challenge at Easter Road and I don't know why VAR look because it's the same people on VAR that looked at the one at Easter Road. Liam Donnelly has got a full foot in the face. I don't want to see people sent off for that but my player got sent off at Easter Road and I do believe that that was a red card as well."
