Max Wober could be set for a spell on the sidelines after injuring his shoulder in Leeds United’s loss to Everton on Saturday afternoon. The Whites endured a miserable day in Merseyside with Seamus Coleman’s second half goal being enough to send them into the Premier League relegation zone.
Their day was made worse by the injury picked up by Wober, who left the field at half-time due to a suspected dislocated shoulder. The defender could be seen receiving treatment on his right shoulder relatively early into the first half, but he was willing to continue until the break and he made a huge block on the line to keep United level just before the interval.
Michael Skubala was unable to provide much information on Wober, but he’ll no doubt be hoping for good news regarding the Austrian’s injury during the week.

“Yeah, we lost Max at half-time to his shoulder,” Skubala said after the game. "He carried on but he's really hurting.
“I think he popped his shoulder out which was a big move for us because we lost our left foot on that side.”
Skubala did welcome Liam Cooper back into the squad this weekend, but the club captain wasn’t deemed to be ready to make an appearance and remained an unused substitute. Pascal Struijk was missing altogether following a setback in his return from concussion.
“Pascal had a bit of fogginess in training yesterday so had to move back on the concussion protocol,” the caretaker boss said. “So he couldn’t actually be involved today in the end, even though he trained yesterday. So that was difficult.
“Liam was on the bench, but he’s not ready for long minutes so we were just making sure we protect him.”
Asked whether he was confident of seeing players return for next week, Skubala said: “I think so yeah. I'm confident we'll hopefully get those ones that are close to add to the depths of the squad so we can keep moving forward.”
