Michael Owen has given his Champions League final prediction as two of his old teams are set to meet in Paris on Saturday night. Back in 2004, Owen broke millions of Liverpool hearts when he left for Madrid, after he scored 158 goals in 297 games for the Reds. He'd only last in Madrid for a year, scoring a respectable 13 league goals in 36 games, before signing for Newcastle United.
Jurgen Klopp's men booked their place in Paris for the showpiece fixture after overcoming Inter Milan, Benfica and Villarreal in the knockout phase of the competition. Madrid, on the other hand, were victorious against PSG, Chelsea and Manchester City despite appearing rather unconvincing in each of their ties en route to the final.
Facing off against the most successful side in Europe's elite competition would be a daunting prospect for many, though Liverpool have been in this position four years ago in Kyiv. Beaten 3-1 that evening in Ukraine, the Reds will be out for revenge on this occasion and head into this rematch as the favourites to prevail as winners.

Owen remains a fan of both of his former sides, but is clearly backing one to blow the other away with a convincing win when come up against one another.
Speaking to the Daily Mail ahead of the game, Owen said: "I think Liverpool are better than Madrid and they could blow them away. 3-1 or 3-0 is my prediction. I think they could beat them reasonably convincingly because they are an exceptional team at the minute and are too good for Madrid."
He added: "Madrid have just done phenomenally well to get to the final. I'm sure they believe their name is on the title what with scrapping through the group stage and then of course Chelsea was incredible how they got through that. Manchester City was just mind-blowing how they beat them as well.
"But I think Liverpool are so experienced and so good. They won't want to get into a grind with them because I think Madrid are the ultimate team when it comes to know-how and winning close games."
