Serie A side Salernitana have reportedly been offered the chance to strike a loan deal for Everton defender, Michael Keane.
The 30-year-old, who is under contract with the Blues until 2025, has made only three appearances in all competitions this season and has been left out of the matchday squad for the last five Premier League outings.
Indeed, Keane has gradually fallen down the pecking order since joining the club from Burnley in 2017 after signings such as Ben Godfrey, Yerry Mina, James Tarkowsi and Conor Coady.

A latest report by tuttosalernitana has suggested the Serie A strugglers would be open to a loan deal after the centre-back was 'proposed' to the club. Convincing Keane to make this move represents a different challenge, however, with the article adding Keane is 'waiting for calls' from clubs with goals other than fighting relegation.
Talks are said to have taken place, with a further round to occur on 'Monday morning', and the Italian club's sporting director remains hopeful an agreement can be reached. Salernitana forward Boulaye Dia has also been 'discussed' between the sides, with Everton described as being admirers of the Senegalese star. Dia is currently on loan from Villarreal, who included a buyout clause for his temporary employers as part of the deal.
