Michael Jackson’s three children recently attended the opening of MJ: The Musical in London’s West End. Prince Jackson, Paris Jackson, and Bigi Jackson graced the red carpet at the Prince Edward Theatre for a preview of the show. The siblings were impeccably dressed for the occasion, with Prince donning a black suit and matching tie, Bigi in a black suit with a white collared shirt, and Paris stunning in a sleeveless copper-colored gown.
MJ: the Musical is a jukebox musical that chronicles Michael Jackson's life, focusing on the making of his Dangerous World Tour in 1992. Originally set to premiere on Broadway in 2020, the show faced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It finally opened at the Neil Simon Theatre in February 2022 and has garnered critical acclaim, receiving 10 Tony award nominations and winning four, including Best Actor in a Musical for Myles Frost's portrayal of Michael.
The siblings' appearance at the event coincides with Bigi's ongoing legal dispute with Michael's mother, Katherine Jackson, over the singer's estate. The court recently ruled in favor of the estate executors in a case where Katherine sought financial support for legal expenses. Bigi, however, remains opposed to this decision.
Following Michael Jackson's tragic death in 2009 at the age of 50, Katherine has received over $55 million from the estate, including a monthly allowance and an initial payout of $33 million to each of Michael's children. The siblings are set to access one-third of their trust funds when they reach the age of 30.
