Actor Michael Fassbender is set to star in a new thriller alongside his wife Alicia Vikander.
The Kerry star and his glamourous wife have been set for key roles in feature Hope, the first project from acclaimed Korean director Na Hong-Jin since 2016 hit The Wailing.
Emmy-nominated Korean actress and model Hoyeon, who made her screen debut with Netflix’s Squid Game, is also set to make her feature debut.

The largely Korean-language film will follow the residents of Hopo Port, where a mysterious discovery is made on the outskirts of the remote harbour town.
Before long, the residents find themselves in a desperate fight for survival against something they have never encountered before.
Additional casting and pre-production is underway for a shoot later this year in Korea.
It is understood Fassbender and Vikander will speak English in the film and wanted to take part after being impressed by the director’s previous work.
It will mark the second time they’ve appeared together in the same film after The Light Between Oceans.
Director Na Hong-Jin said: "Oftentimes, a person’s goodwill can lead to unintended catastrophe simply because of differences in perspective. My hope for this film is to cinematically capture that phenomenon in a way that has yet to be seen."
It comes just days after Fassbender was spotted on New Street, Dundalk, Co Louth on the set of a new Irish film about Belfast rap artists KNEECAP.
The Oscar nominee was also pictured in Greenore in Carlingford on board the 'Ceol Na Mara', owned by local fisherman Dermot Marks.
It is the first time the actor has been on an Irish film set in 10 years.
The dark comedy film has been described by the Belfast trio as "the biggest Irish language film ever made".
Speaking to Hot Press, KNEECAP's Móglaí Bap said: "It’s not our own personal stories – our characters have their own fictional stories – but it’s the KNEECAP timeline, which is all true.
"The bits about being in the news will all be in the movie, and the back-stories will be intertwined in that. It will be something different!"
The group recently held three gigs, two in Belfast and one in Dundalk, that will allow the fans that go to them to where they are to feature in the film.
