Barnsley manager Michael Duff has issued an injury update on a number of players ahead of their Carabao Cup second round trip to Leeds United this evening. The Tykes will be looking to pull off a big cup upset when they travel to their Yorkshire neighbours, with the two clubs now two divisions apart.
It is set to be the first meeting between the sides in over two years, with Leeds coming out 1-0 winners at Elland Road back in July 2020 – the final game before the Whites were promoted. Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Duff confirmed wing-back Nicky Cadden will not be available as they await the results of his scan on a calf injury.
"Cads has had a scan and we are still waiting for the results. Hopefully, it's nothing serious from his other calf on Saturday.
