Michael Conlan’s vivid green shorts from his dramatic world title fight with Leigh Wood have fetched a cool £20,000 for a West Belfast charity.
The Belfast boxer auctioned off his boxing shorts with all money raised going to the West Wellbeing organisation, a suicide prevention group based in the Colin area of West Belfast.
Conlan is an ambassador for the charity which has delivered over 1,000 hours of free mental health support in its first months of opening.

The winning bid of £10,000 came from Stallion New York, an American company that provides boxing gear and sports equipment, including footwear, gloves and sparring gear.
And that £10,000 was matched by Top Rank Boxing, meaning West Wellbeing will benefit to the tune of £20,000.
On Twitter, Conlan wrote: “I have just received a phone call from Top Rank Boxing who are going to match the bid of £10k, so a massive donation to West Wellbeing of £20k!!!
“Well done to Stallion New York and thank you to everyone who took part.”
West Wellbeing replied on Twitter: “Unbelievable. Mick, you are a gentleman, Thank you so much.”
Conlan was up on three judges' scorecards against WBA world featherweight champion Wood when he was sensationally knocked out of the ring in the final round in Nottingham.
The Falls Road man was stretchered out of the arena before being taken to hospital but was later given the all-clear before returning home.
