Michael Conlan insists he doesn't need to chase world titles, saying fate will dictate his rise to the top.
The featherweight is in camp preparing for his ring return on December 10 against Karim Guerfi.
Some fight fans have questioned the level of Guerfi, but the Frenchman proved his threat by flooring Jordan Gill in a thrilling European title fight back in February.

Gill - who Conlan had been hoping to fight in December - produced a sensational comeback to knock out Guerfi in what turned into a real fight of the year contender.
Conlan had his own FOTY with Leigh Wood in March, losing out in his first attempt to become a world champion.
The Falls Road boxer insists no stone will be left unturned against Guerfi. And only after that will he turn his attention to bigger things in 2023.
"You can't overlook any fighter," Conlan told Belfast Live.
"Sometimes you find yourself doing it a wee bit, and you have to slap yourself on the head and say 'what are you doing?'.
"This guy can cause any upset; he has before. So I am overlooking nobody and I am looking forward to it.
"There's no point me looking down the line or into 2023. There are world tiles on the horizon, I know that.
"But I am not chasing it, it's going to come."
Conlan has been training with his father John in Belfast during a week home in Belfast.
He is set to return to England next week to link up again with Adam Booth.
Conlan admits he is in a "good place" some six weeks out from his fight.
"Camp is going well. I am home for the week doing a little bit here, working with my father when I am back," the 30-year-old added.
"I head back over to England next week so everything is going well. I am training hard and I am really fit at the minute, for being so far out (from the fight).
"So I am in a good place.
"I can't wait to get back in the SSE again. I can't wait until it's all done and dusted and I can sit back and enjoy Christmas.
"I am feeling good and I am prepared for a tough test. People talk bad about the opponent but I think it is a solid fight.
"Two fight of the year contenders, both lost. And we're back at it again."
