Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen has recently confirmed that on November 29, 2018, he pleaded guilty to one count of making false statements to Congress. Cohen admitted that he made these false statements on behalf of then-President Donald Trump in 2017.

During the court proceedings, jurors observed Cohen as he explained that he had been sentenced to 36 months in prison and also fined. This revelation sheds further light on the legal troubles surrounding individuals connected to the former president.
