Michael Beale believes Rangers targets Todd Cantwell and Morgan Whittaker will move in this transfer window as he spoke of his admiration of the English duo.
The Ibrox boss is still to make his first signing since taking over from Giovanni van Bronckhorst. But he told any supporters who are anxious over the lack of activity that they are making progress in the background and he is happy with how things are going.
Rangers have had a bid rejected for 22-year-old Swansea City man Whittaker, who was on loan at Plymouth Argyle earlier this season, while Cantwell emerged as a target last week. Beale, speaking ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Kilmarnock, told Sky Sports: “They’re two excellent players (Todd and Morgan) and we’re looking for excellent players. They’re at different stages of their career but they’re two players who we’re aware of, that are good players, and will probably move in this window.
