Michael Beale claims that the last six weeks have been the 'busiest he has ever been' as he aims to tilt the balance of Celtic's domination in the domestic scene - though he can't wait for the season to be over.
Beale took over at Ibrox after leaving Queens Park Rangers in the World Cup break, winning all but four of his 23 league games in charge at the Govan helm. It means that he has actually fared better than Celtic in the league by two points since his appointment, though the damage Giovanni van Bronckhorst had already done was insurmountable.
Attentions now turn to next season, and with Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Allan McGregor and Scott Arfield all leaving, it represents a new dawn for the Light Blues. Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin have bedded in superbly under the Englishman, but more signings for next season, Beale hopes, will propel them above the Hoops and into a title win next season.
