Michael Beale has hailed the 'fantastic job' Ange Postecoglou has done at Celtic as he explained the reasons behind his 'lucky' dig.
The Rangers boss believes his Old Firm rivals have spent MORE money in the past year than Steven Gerrard did in his whole Ibrox tenure. The 42-year-old insists that is NOT a slight on the work the Hoops gaffer has done in his time at Parkhead and says the comment just comes from being asked daily about money that will be spent with the transfer window open for business.
Beale is a huge fan of the way his Celtic rival sets up his team to play as he pointed out the importance of building a team that can both compete and go beyond the current Scottish champions. He said: “He’s a very good coach. I’ve known of him for a long time. Firstly he’s a very good man on a personal level as well. He’s done a fantastic job but in this country there are two coaches who are more lucky than the others. I’m one of them but certainly he is as well.
