MIC's Louise Thompson pays tribute to NHS nurses amid national strike action

Made In Chelsea's Louise Thompson has paid tribute to the NHS nurses who looked after her while she was seriously unwell in hospital.

The 32-year-old hailed the workers as “champs” amid their national strike action. Nurses in England, Wales and Northern Ireland went on strike in the Royal College of Nursing’s (RCN) first national action on Thursday (December 15).

Louise shared a photo from her previous visit to hospital with her 1.4 million Instagram followers. She is laying in a hospital bed, in a gown and wired up to machines. In the caption of the post, she paid tribute to the nurses who cared for her through her 'pure darkness.'
