MIAL to start demolishing part of Mumbai airport's T1 from January 15 next year

New Delhi: Adani Group-operated Mumbai airport will start demolishing a part of Terminal 1 from January 15, 2027 and has commenced redistribution of air traffic to Terminal 2 as well as to Navi Mumbai International Airport, according to a letter.

The Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL) operates Mumbai's Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, which currently has a capacity of over 50 million and handles over 950 flight movements daily.
