HSBC Midcap Fund turned a Rs 10,000 monthly SIP into Rs 2.33 crore over 20 years, an analysis by ETMutualFunds showed. A further review found that the scheme delivered the second-highest three-year trailing returns in its category.

Launched on August 9, 2004, the fund holds a three-star rating from Value Research and Morningstar.
