The global demand for semiconductor chips is on an unstoppable rise, with projections indicating that worldwide spending on these microscopic brains will exceed $1.2 trillion annually by 2032. These chips power everything from household appliances to advanced AI engines and are becoming increasingly critical in our technology-driven world. However, the challenges associated with manufacturing these complex components are becoming more apparent, especially in Taiwan, the current leader in the semiconductor market.

Taiwan currently holds an impressive 60% of the global semiconductor market share and an astonishing 90% of the specialized chip market share. However, military challenges faced by the region could potentially threaten the future viability of chip manufacturing there. This has prompted enterprises to set their sights on North America, particularly Mexico, as a top choice for future semiconductor chip manufacturing investment.
