Mexican President Sheinbaum Says Military Will Be Investigated After Soldiers Killed Six Civilians

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum guaranteed there will be a thorough investigation on the killing of six civilians by soldiers in the state of Tamaulipas.

The incident took place on Tuesday, with soldiers claiming that they opened fire on a vehicle that sought to ram them while they were patrolling a highway. The army didn't clarify whether those in the car were armed.
