Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said she asked her foreign minister to hold a meeting with U.S. Ambassador to the country, Ronald Johnson, to develop a protocol to deal with criminal organizations following the latest strike against alleged drug vessels in the eastern Pacific.
"I spoke with the foreign minister (Juan Ramon De la Fuente) and asked him to call the ambassador to tell him we want an improved protocol, in the context of the security agreements we have with the U.S.," Sheinbaum said during her daily press conference.
