Jesse & Joy, one of the most successful sibling duos in Latin music, are facing an uncertain future after Jesse Huerta announced that he will step away from the group after completing its remaining 2026 commitments.
The Mexican-American musician shared the deeply personal decision with fans on Tuesday, saying he needs time to focus on his family and protect his mental and emotional health. The announcement comes 21 years after Jesse and his younger sister, Joy Huerta, formally launched the act in Mexico City in 2005.
