Police are searching for a man after phones, iPads and jewellery were stolen in a burglary in Kentish Town.
The Metropolitan Police released a photo of a suspect on Friday morning after a house in Willingham Close was targeted at around 1.30pm on February 12.
Doorbell footage shows a black man wearing a dark jacket and trousers. He has a shaved head and appears to be over 40. Other residents in the area had reported the same man “acting suspiciously,” say the Met.
Detective Constable Aaron Ross from the police team covering Kentish Town appealed for the public’s help in a statement released on Friday.
“This is a really clear image of the man we want to identify and speak to – do you recognise him? If so, please get in contact immediately,” DC Ross said.
“Burglary is an extremely distressing crime and can leave a lasting impact on victims. Basic home safety advice is available on our website which will help keep your home secure.
“If you see anyone acting suspiciously, please call police on 101 or 999 in an emergency.”
Anyone who can assist police is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote 3761/12FEB2024.
