A metal pole was thrown through the window of a moving vehicle, narrowly missing those who were inside.
The incident unfolded at around 9pm on Wednesday, April 5, when a vehicle was travelling along Southcroft Road, in Rutherglen.
An unknown person flung the pole and caused damage to the vehicle. A 37-year-old man was also assaulted during the incident, but did not receive any serious injuries.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward after the heartless act.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9pm, an unknown person caused a disturbance by throwing a metal pole through the window of a moving vehicle, narrowly missing those within and causing damage.
"A 37-year-old man was also assaulted during the incident, but did not receive any serious injuries.
