The Metropolitan Police has ramped up security around London's synagogues and Jewish community centres following the gun attack at Bondi Beach in Sydney.

Ten people were killed when gunmen opened fire at a Hanukkah celebration on Sunday evening. The shooting took place on the first day of the Jewish festival, with at least 12 others injured including two police officers.
