Met Police officer sacked after running pizza business while on sick leave

A Metropolitan Police Sergeant has been sacked for running and promoting his mobile pizza service while on long-term sick leave.

Firearms officer Matt Skelt was accused of gross misconduct after 34 years of service at a disciplinary hearing in Sutton, London, on Thursday.
