(Picture: PA Archive)A serving Metropolitan Police officer is set to appear in court charged with possessing indecent images, including some of children.
PC George Patmore was charged on November 8 with three counts of making an indecent image of a child, one count of possession of extreme pornography and one count of publishing an obscene article.
Patmore, who is attached to the London North East Command Unit, was bailed to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday. It is understood he is yet to enter a plea.
He was arrested on July 9 and has been suspended from duty.
The Met has not commented further.
