A Metropolitan Police officer denied two counts of rape and one of grievous bodily harm with intent as he appeared in court.
Inspector Jason Wu, 50, appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday accused of the alleged offences against a woman in 2019 and 2021.
The officer works in the force’s detention section and is based in Colindale in north-west London.
During the brief hearing, the court heard that Wu has indicated not guilty pleas to all charges against him.
The defendant spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
The case was sent to Kingston Crown Court, where the officer will appear on August 28 to enter formal pleas.
The allegations were reported to the Met in June 2022 and an investigation was launched, the force previously said.
The police officer, who has been suspended from duty, was granted conditional bail.
