The Met Office has issued a yellow warning with thunderstorms expected. Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected to hit Nottinghamshire and other parts of the UK on Sunday, June 18.

Nottingham is forecast to be cloudy on Sunday, with rain throughout the afternoon, from 3pm into the late evening. Temperatures are expected to reach 24C. The weather warning is in place from 12pm to midnight on the day.

According to the Met Office, there could be thunderstorms at 3pm, 4pm and 6pm. Heavy rain and thunderstorms on Sunday will also bring a chance of disruption to parts of England and Wales, said Met. Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and possible road closures.
