It will be another cloudy start to the day for Leeds on Thursday with sunshine breaking through in the afternoon.
After a mostly cloudy week Leeds is forecast for yet more cloud. However, sunshine will appear in the afternoon, says the Met Office. Temperatures are starting to rise as the UK is hit with a heat health warning this weekend.
The Met Office said: "Largely cloudy initially, cloud retreating back to the coast to allow prolonged periods of sunshine in west during the afternoon. Breezy over western hills. Warmer than Wednesday away from coasts. Maximum temperature 18 °C."

It will be an overcast start to the day for Leeds, says the Met Office, before turning to sunny intervals from midday. The cloud will disappear from 3pm turning cloudy across the city until 6pm where sunny intervals are forecast for the remainder of Thursday.
The maximum temperature will be 17 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Largely unchanged on Friday. Then warmer, and sunnier on Saturday, but perhaps breezy with a chance of showers. Further chance of showers Sunday, potentially heavy and thundery.
