More sun is set to hit Leeds today (Thurs) as temperatures remain in the low teens for the day.
At 6am, the temperature will be at 5C before the sun emerges at 7am and temperatures increase to 6C. As the sun is out at this time, the temperature will rise rapidly to 7C at 8am, 9C at 9am, 11C at 10am and 12C by 11am.
By midday, the temperature will climb up to 13C as the sun continues to beam down.
The temperature will reach its maximum at 1pm, at 14C and will remain at this level until 4pm. At this point, the temperature will reduce to 13C, before declining to 12C at 6pm, 11C at 7pm and 9C at 8pm.
Between 8pm and 9pm, the sun will go down and by 9pm, the temperature will reduce to 8C for the rest of the evening. The Met Office said: Fine and dry once early low cloud clears, although some may linger along windward slopes.
"Feeling warm in sunny spells but turning cloudier from the east with showers possible later. Maximum temperature 13 °C."
