Bristol is set for an unsettled weekend with forecasters warning of freezing temperatures and heavy rain. According to the Met Office, temperatures could reach as low as -7C in the region tonight (December 17).
The Exeter-based forecaster is predicting 'patchy rain or sleet' to come with the sub-zero temperatures. There is then set to be periods of heavy rainfall and strong winds tomorrow.
In Bristol, the mercury is set to reach 7C this afternoon - although the 'feels like temperature' will peak at 5C. It will become colder as we move into the evening, with 'feel like temperatures' reaching -1C at 7pm before dropping further overnight.

The outlook turns increasingly miserable tomorrow, with heavy rain sweeping the city. The Met Office predicts the wet weather to arrive at 8am and last for most of the day.
Alongside the rain, wind speeds are set to increase tomorrow afternoon. Forecasters say winds could reach 30mph at 1pm tomorrow.

Sunday: A cloudy and windy day with a chance of coastal gales. Periods of rain, heaviest and most persistent over higher ground. Temperatures rising and becoming very mild by the evening. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday: Very mild on Monday, but often wet with heavy rain in places. Less mild on Tuesday and Wednesday with bright spells and occasional showers. Often windy with coastal gales possible.
