The Met Office is predicting plenty more sunny spells this week, with highs of 23C in Liverpool.
The city and the wider region has enjoyed lots of sunshine in recent weeks, and this is set to continue through to Sunday (June 11). Sunday is predicted to be the hottest day of the week, with highs of 23C in Liverpool, however there is also a light shower or two forecast for that day.
And as we move towards the middle of the month, there may be thunderstorms, though the north of England is "more likely to hold onto drier conditions".
