Heavy rain is forecast to begin from around 5am, with a possible brief interval at around 11am before the rain continues to pour into the evening and overnight. What's more, a number of flood warnings and alerts are in place, including in Lower and Upper Frome and Avon (and tributaries), the mid-Bristol Avon area, upper-Bristol Avon area and West Somerset streams.
